When you need lifelike motion and fine detail, 4K/60p captures fast action smoothly. For stills, 50 MP files preserve texture and micro‑detail, giving you flexibility to crop or reframe.

Stabilization and leveling: FlowState stabilization with 6‑axis gyro and 360° horizon lock  

Built‑in stabilization counters bumps and vibration, while horizon lock keeps the scene level even if the camera rotates—ideal for chest, helmet, or handlebar mounts.

Display and control: 6.4 cm flip touchscreen on the Action Pod; Voice Control 2.0  

The larger flip screen simplifies framing and playback. Voice Control 2.0 lets you start or stop capture hands‑free. The camera and Action Pod can be separated while maintaining remote view and control, so you can place the camera creatively and monitor shots from a distance.

Battery and charging: 500 mAh camera + 1450 mAh Action Pod, up to 200 minutes combined; fast charging via USB‑C  

The standalone camera and Action Pod work together to extend runtime. Fast charging gets the camera to about 80% in roughly 12 minutes (and the Action Pod in about 18 minutes), minimizing downtime between sessions.

Remote operation: optional Ring Remote; Action Pod viewing and control when separated
