Magnus is a photo- and videographer based in Tallinn, Estonia. His portfolio ranges from corporative videos to portrait and aerial photos. As for many, his path also started from hobby photography and has now become a full-time professional career.

How did you start with photo/video?
It all started about 15-20 years ago when my mother bought me my very first digital camera, for my trip to Australia, it was small Ultra Zoom 4.0MP. After this amazing 2 years in wilderness, I really got hooked up. Back home I bought my first DSLR and started as a hobby landscape photographer, because I spent lots of time in the nature. -
How would you describe your style?
It is really the hardest question, and I have not found my style yet. I hate routine, so I will better do everything, then stick to one specific style. Last 6 years I moved mainly to videography and photography is side thing for now. -
What inspires you?
I think other people, I have this weird thing, when i started all this as nature photographer, I wanted to show others some cool places, moments. And others feedback kept me going. I offered them awesome moments through photos, I made them happy. And also, curiosity to great something new! -
What is your dream shoot or project?
I really love working with NatGeo one day. I have one shot that they posted it, but yeah, I really would love to take part some of their adventures to save nature. -
What is your best advice to others that want to develop as photographers?
I can see there is lots of newcomers, they all try to stand out, it is hard struggle. Be yourself, do what you want, and how you want it - do not copycat others! You will only be different in your own style, in your own way!
What is in your bag?

Probably some kind of candy, or chocolate :) cause I’m diabetic. To be honest, all you need is a camera and a lens. - What bag do you use?
I have like 3 different backpacks from F-Stop. I think they make awesome bags, really love them!
