Q&A

  1. How did you start with photo/video?
Ever since I got my first video camera in 2006, I’ve been passionate about visual storytelling. As a result of growing up in The High Coast in Sweden, I have naturally been exposed to the outdoor lifestyle, so it has naturally become a big part of my work and style. Through my passion for filmmaking, I later discovered the joy of outdoor photography.
  2. How would you describe your style?
I'm drawn to the more "moody" and dramatic style. In my landscape photography, I always aim to have a human subject in the frame to showcase the scale of the surroundings and give some context to the image.
  3. What inspires your?
To travel and meet people from different parts of the world has always been a big source of inspiration. I also get a lot of inspiration from other photographers and cinematographers, to see how they use lighting, color and composition to shape their image.
  4. What is your dream shoot or project?
I've got too many! I would love to shoot a bigger project somewhere in the Arctic. Possibly Greenland.
  5. What is your best advice to others that want to develop as photographers?
If I had to give one piece of advice it would be to enjoy the learning process. Don’t be afraid to experiment and try new things.

What is in your bag?

  1. What is the most important in your bag?
Except for my camera, it has to be my 35mm 1.4. It's that perfect mix between a lanscape and portrait lens.
  2. What bag do you use?
I've been using the Incase DSLR Pro Pack for a few good years, but it has seen better days... I also use B+W Outdoor Cases for most video shoots.
